What is labiaplasty?
Labiaplastyis a procedure performed to reduce the size of the labia minora (inner labia) or labia majora (outer labia).
Are you a candidate?
Candidates of labiaplasty has one labium or both labia are stretched abnormally, black and ugly leading to vulvar complex, droopy labia minora sticking to crotches with impurities, rubbing against a tight-fitting pants in discomfort, ugly looking and wet with urine quite often, or not in good hygienic condition
There two areas of labia:
- Labia minora: congenital enlargement of labia minora or enlargement of labia minorawith age. Different types of labia minora include: asymmetrical labia minora, loose and large labia minora, irregular shape of labia minora, and dark-colored labia minora. All of these conditions may cause embarrassment with a sexual partner, discomfort in tight pants, when playing sports, or during sexual intercourse.
- Labia majora: The labia majora may be enlarged from birth, secondary to childbirth, or due to aging. Many women also have large and droopy labia majora after a major weight loss, such as a post-bariatric surgery.
How is the surgery done?
Labiaplasty is performed under local anesthesia, IV sedation, or general anesthesia. The procedure reduces the size of the labia minora or labia majora to resolve the patients’ discomfort.
